It recently won a US$240 million energy tariff arbitration representing a major energy corporation and owner of a large thermoelectrical power plant dealing with challenging aspects of Mexican energy regulation. In 2020, it advised a major international EPC contractor with respect to more than 30 claims regarding the connection of a 1,000 MW combined cycle energy plant to the Mexican electricity grid and legal and regulatory issues related to sophisticated technical issues.
The Wöss & Partners team includes a former general counsel of Gas Natural Fenosa with more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector and current vice-president of the Mexican Energy Law Academy.
